Basic Class: close-embrace tango.
Monday eves.  7:15 until 8:30.  $5 per person, no partner needed.  (Most Mondays. Call 520-395-9355 to confirm.)

Practica: an assisted practice session.
Follows the basic class, until 10 p.m.  Free to class attendees, $3 for only the practica without the class.

The basic class is for beginners, but also for experienced dancers who want to transition to the more authentic close-embrace style actually danced in Buenos Aires.  Singles welcome.  We do frequent partner changes.  Wear leather sole shoes that enable you to pivot easily.  It's better if women wear slacks or high skirts so instructor can see the knee movement.  (We invite advanced dancers to attend free to assist the class and to learn teaching techniques.)

MILONGA SATURDAYS   (The "milonga" is the social dance event.)

We generally host a milonga every first and third Saturday each month, but this
can vary if there are conflicting events in our usual venue or other tango events
happening elsewhere in Tucson that night.   Milongas start at 8:30 and end at 
midnight.   Admission is $5 per person.   There is food service at the bar until 
8:30 so many people make this a complete date night.
